J. Adams & Co is a British lighting studio founded in Birmingham in 2016, drawing on the city's industrial manufacturing heritage to produce contemporary lighting with precision and substance. The design approach pairs traditional making methods with a restrained modern aesthetic, and the result is a collection that reads as considered and confident rather than decorative.

The range covers pendants and wall lights across several distinct families. The Nova series works well in both residential and commercial settings. The Orbit range introduces stone and brass as primary materials, which gives those pieces a grounded quality suited to spaces with natural stone or timber. The Flume and Strata series are the most architecturally ambitious, with price points that reflect their scale and complexity.
