Paris, France
DCW éditions
Founded in Paris, DCW éditions produces some of the most considered lighting in the world. Every piece is designed by someone with a name, a philosophy and a reason for every decision - from the Lampe Gras, first designed in 1921 and later owned by Le Corbusier and Matisse, through to contemporary pieces by Studio Vantot and others. No shortcuts, no imitations. These are originals, made to be lived with for a long time.
COPENHAGEN, DENMARK
Audo Copenhagen
Audo Copenhagen was formed in 2023, bringing together two names with deep roots in Danish design - MENU, founded in 1978, and by Lassen, custodian of the work of architects Mogens and Flemming Lassen. The result is a single house built on more than a century of Scandinavian design heritage, working across furniture, lighting and accessories with a philosophy the brand calls soft minimalism: clean lines, natural materials and a restrained, considered use of colour. Pieces like the Hashira and JWDA lamps - and the Dancing Pendant, already part of our range - show that sensibility clearly: understated forms that let material and proportion do the work.
CURRUMBIN, AUSTRALIA
SØKTAS
SØKTAS was born from a chance meeting between glassmaker Oliver Höglund and Ryan Roberts in Oslo in 2015. Höglund comes from three generations of glass artists - his grandfather and father both worked at Sweden's renowned Kosta Boda glassworks - and that inheritance shows in every piece to come out of the SØKTAS studio. The work is made without drawings or fixed plans: each piece is shaped while the glass is still hot, which means the process stays genuinely experimental rather than repeating a template. The result is lighting with real presence - sculptural, textural, and unmistakably handmade.
Italy
Ferroluce
Ferroluce was founded in 1982 by Valter and Miriam Valentinuz, and is still run today by the family's sons. What began as a wrought iron workshop in Italy has evolved into a brand built around ceramic lighting, made using a deliberately unhurried process the studio calls Slow Manufacturing. Nothing is mass-produced - each piece is shaped, glazed and finished by hand, which is why no two are ever quite identical. The result is lighting with real colour and character: rounded, harmonious forms that draw on Italian tradition without feeling dated. It's a different kind of craftsmanship to DCW or Studio Enti, but the same underlying conviction - that how something is made matters as much as how it looks.
