Northern is a small Norwegian lighting brand founded in 2005, designing pieces that are informed by the specific quality of Nordic natural light and the materials culture of the region. The range we carry is intentionally compact: the Tradition pendant in fabric and steel, the Tradition Linear for dining and kitchen island applications, and the Heat pendant in its distinctive woven form.

These are quiet, confident pieces that suit interiors where restraint is the point. The Tradition Linear in particular works well over long dining tables and kitchen islands where you want warmth and presence without a complex installation. The Heat pendant has an unusual material quality that rewards a second look.

We stock Northern as a considered addition to the Scandinavian options in our collection. It is a smaller range than Nordlux but brings a different sensibility, one that leans more toward material experimentation and less toward breadth.
