The Birdy Swing Wall Light by Northern was originally designed in the 1950s by Birger Dahl, a pioneer of contemporary Nordic lighting. After careful consultation with the Birger Dahl family's successors, Northern brought an original sketch that had never reached production into the range for the first time. Mirroring the strong geometric shapes and soft, gentle contours of the long-armed wall lamp, Birdy Swing continues Dahl's striking signature style and ever-relevant design language. Its steel body and aluminium shade give the fitting a smooth rotating axis, allowing light to be directed exactly where it is needed across bedrooms, hallways, living spaces, and reading nooks.
