Glow Lighting

Glow Lighting is a British studio founded by lighting designer Emily Butterill, based in a glassblowing workshop in Ripon, North Yorkshire. Every piece is hand-blown in small batches using traditional artisan techniques, which means each light carries the slight variation and warmth that only comes from something made by hand. The Jules and Frieda ranges are the core of the collection, available in clear glass and a small number of considered colours, with brass and bronze fittings.

The Wanda range adds a more generous, bulbous form to the offering and works particularly well in kitchen and dining spaces where you want presence without weight. All pieces pair the glass with warm metal fittings that patina well over time.

We carry Glow Lighting because the British studio glassblowing tradition produces something genuinely different from Continental European glass work, and Emily Butterill's designs have a directness and integrity that is not easy to find.
