The Nest Table Lamp by Robert Gordon is a handcrafted ceramic table lamp made in Melbourne from recycled clay. The form is substantial and sculptural at 380mm in diameter and 320mm in height, the reactive glaze surface and open top and bottom construction allowing light to spill both above and below the shade in a soft, layered way that shifts the quality of a room rather than simply illuminating it. Available in ten glazes from the quiet warmth of Bone and Sand through to the deeper, more considered tones of Shale and Storm, each piece carries the natural variation that comes with high-temperature ceramic firing. A 3W G9 LED globe is included. The lamp arrives plug-ready for New Zealand and Australian outlets with a 1.8m cord and inline switch.
